I just got a new and exciting lip product: Giorgio Armani Lip Wax, which is somewhere between a stain and a balm, but feels like nothing at all. It's kind of mystifying, actually, but really cool! I got shade number 5, Cardinal Red, which is a bright true red (but sort of sheer, as are all of the lip waxes). I wanted shade 2 as well (Antique Rose) but it was sold out in the store and is also out of stock online - apparently in perpetuity, since I've been looking for it since November, to no avail.

Lip Wax is more of a stain, though, so it's best to apply it with a lip brush (or you'll have pink fingertips). Once you're wearing it, don't expect any change in your natural lip texture, but the color difference will be dramatic - even though if you couldn't see yourself, you would have NO IDEA that there was anything on your lips. (It's also not very moisturizing, so your lips should be exfoliated and prepped first.)

Overall, it's an intriguing product. Good for trying out a bolder red look - it's not as hardcore (or smudgeable) as Russian Red or another full-on red lipstick, but it's still pretty colorful. I really want to get my hands on the Antique Rose shade, because I think it would be excellent for a low-key, everyday look. Thus why it will probably never be in stock again. Oh, well...
I've had my eye on this since it came out. It looks great on you!
